Custom board with IMX RT1172AVM8A is not working

Hi NXP,

I have used IMX RT1170EVK(with IMX RT1176DVMAA SOC) for the development and my custom board consists of IMX RT1172AVM8A SOC. I'm having the following issues with my custom board.

1. Whatever the boot switch SW1 configuration it is always detecting SDP mode when connected to J20 and I have verified the boot switch connections. All things are fine with it.

2. I'm able to load and erase the image file to the flash.

3. But when I try execute the image loaded. It is giving BUS faults.

4. So, based on first condition mentioned above I tried to run the image in RAM but there also it is       giving  BUS faults.

5. I have used both MCUXPresso versions 11.8 (1170 SDK version 2.14) and 11.9(1170 SDK version     2.15).

Can you please help regarding this ?

Regards,

Ragnar.

Hello, my name is Pavel, and I will be supporting your case, I recommend downloading and installing the SP tool, this tool could help you to check if the communication with your QSPI is successful, only to confirm that the QSPI communication is done.

What is the QSPI matricula? Is it the same as the RT1170? Are you using it the same channel on FlexSPI like RT1170?

Best regards,
Pavel
