Trace on MIMXRT1020-EVK

Hi All,

 I have an MIMXRT1020-EVK, which is the Eval Board for the iMXRT1021

I see it doesn't have any support for instruction trace 'out of the box'

I don't count SWO as instruction trace as it only 'samples' the execution path, whereas I need to know exactly what is going on.

Has anybody ever managed to get full trace working on this board?

If so, what did you do, and what Probe did you use?

Hi Chris,

1. The openSDA on MIMXRT1020-EVK doesn't support SWO trace. The J16 is not support SWO or TRACE too. To trace by trace port, you have to fly wire from J19.

2. RT1021 only support 1 bit trace(trace_clock + trace01). It doesn't support 2bit or 4bit.

3. I use ulink pro.
