On a custom RT1011 platform I am trying to bring up some SPI peripherals, but I see no signal on the SDI pin configured in the pin mux tool. I do see the SPI clock signal on the scope from its configured pin with the expected number of cycles as the number of bits I am writing.
I am using the LPSPI1 peripheral, SCK on GPIO_AD_06, SDI on GPIO_AD_03, SDO on GPIO_AD_04, CS not used, LPSPI API Master Blocking Transfer. What am I missing here?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
For the SPI master device, the SDI pin is a MISO pin of the SPI interface, it doesn't have signals otherwise, the slave device transfers the data to the master device.
Hope this is clear.
Have a great day,
TIC
