GPIO pin configuration

Hi 

I like to know how to configure gpio pins on mimxrt1170 evk board to connect to external peripherals like switches, light sensors or actuators.  Is there any guide as to how to setup hardware?

You could take a look to the RT1170's SDK examples, there you could see the configuration and uses of the peripherals. The hardware would depend on the application you might want to have.

It could be useful to read these documents:

• Hardware Development Guide for the MIMXRT1160/1170 Processor User Guide
• Getting Started with the i.MX RT1170 Evaluation Kit | NXP Semiconductors. Go to section Projects and Tutorials to access a couple of application notes that might be helpful.
