run yocto imx 4.x kernel on mx53 quick start board.

I bitbake from yocto master branch for my mx53 quick start board. with 4.6.0-rc7-fslc+g9be3cdc, it can run and login as root. But no gpu driver and display. Even with the core-image-x11 there is no diplay on my VGA display. How can I got the graphics and display working on the latest kernel. The 2.6.35.3 is the one currently supporting all gui/graphics and gstreamer functions. Does someone know a high kernel which can support gstreamer 1.0 on mx53 or a method to do so?

If you would like to use the GPU you would need to stick to the 2.6.35 kernel, but you should be able to use X11 on newer kernels, just most likely not 4.x.
