linux 5.4 fsl_sai.c and FSL_SAI_VERID_0301

hi there,

 I am debugging getting sai 0 to generate the correct bitclock output in master mode on an imx6ulz running linux 5.4. Right now it appears to not be getting the divider output  , and code reviewing the sai driver, I am seeing a lot of dancing around the FSL_SAI_VERID_0301 version for special treatment on how to program the SAI registers. What does FSL_SAI_VERID_0301 correspond to, silicon-wise?

Hi tylernol,

   FSL_SAI_VERID_0301 has no relationship with 6ULZ, cause it's SAI module does not have register Version ID Register (VERID).
