Hi all,

I'm trying to use imx-lib-11.09.01 provided with imx packages and i want to use ipu features in particular.

Installation of package is ok, but problems rise with compilation attempts. If i can perfectly compile vpu part, ipu part refuses to do it (problem of struct definitions, ...)

So, is someone use this lib ? Is it really debugged ?

Is there an other way to use fastly ipu features ?

Thanks.

No problem.

This probe can be used with eclipse too (not yet try). It costs about 750 $.

Yes, it seems Test profile don't work or/and prog tests don't work. But you can always read them and get programing info.

Let see this note from imx53_start_linux_bsp_userguide.pdf:

"Select platform to Freescale iMX reference boards and exit, saving the changes. At the
next menu, select platform type as imx5x and package profile. Exit and save
changes. Please note that only the profiles of Min profile, FSL gnome release
packages and mfg firmware profile pass build tests."

So...

It's possible i've to add new api or drivers for ipu, if needed. I've already added a specific camera driver for instance.

My project is a camera application. And you ?

I've read these tests don't work, so i prefer directly go and use api from imx lib with doc on it.

Yes i'm also developing but i hope i could use imx53 without need of additional drivers, just api, in a first time.

I'm using linux. ltib is coming from freescale.

I manage to compile but with the min config profile. I've not tried another config.

Test profile is not so useful for me since i want to directly use ipu, vpu features. I hope it works at least... :-|

Another point now i can go further. I suppose you use ipu functions, so did you integrate them easily and is it working as expected ? Seemingly, including .h file mxc_ipu_hl_lib.h doesn't go alone.
