iMX6: power-up state of EIM pins

What is the power-up state of the EIM pins EIM_DA0..EIM_DA15?

We do not use the external bus and would like to use some of these pins as GPIO outputs, but for that we need to know their initial state. I was unable to find anything in the documentation.

The reference shows them mapped to EIM by default. Our boot configuration selects boot from SPI flash. Nothing accesses the EIM during boot. I would expect the pins to remain tri-stated under these circumstances, but it would be nice to have some proof.
