i.MX8M Plus - GP Timers not connected to the IO pins?

Hi all.

I am looking at the Reference Manual for i.MX8M Plus to see if it satisfies my requirements. But I find it very hard to figure out if the peripherals listed in the Specs are actually usable.

E.g. it is written that this SoC has 6 General Purpose Timers, each with 2xInput Capture and 3x Output Compare. However when I am looking at the IOMUX reference it seems as if it is only GPT1 which actually has its Input Capture routed to the IO Pins, leaving GPT2-6 useless wrt Input Capture.

Have I misunderstood something here? It seems a bit odd that I have to dig so much to find out if the listed peripherals actually are functional or not?

Thanks for any advice

Hi Erling

your understanding is correct: only GPT1 has its Input Capture routed to the IO Pins.
