i.MX8M 1588 Grand Master and GPS 1PPS

Hello NXP tech support,

Part#: I.MX8M

App: 1588 Grand Master

Would you have any white papers or appnotes on what pins to connect in hardware and what is required in software to connect the i.MX8M clock input pins with a GPS 1PPS such that it can accurately timestamp packets in its 1588 core?

Also if you could send me some information on how to setup the i.MX8M as 1588 Grand Master?

Hi Sebster,

MX8M supports IEEE1588, and have a timer controller status where you can set the timestamps. All
is explained in the reference manual in the ENET_TCSRn chapter.
But currently the documentation you might have is the IMX8M Hardware developer guide.
