[i.MX7] How to read/write I2C 16 bit EEPROM

I use fsl-yocto-L4.1.15_2.0.0-ga BSP(Yocto 2.1) to bring up the device.

I don't know how to verify the function of I2C 16 bit EEPROM.
Can you tell me the read/write command or the read/write tool to verify I2C 16 bit EEPROM?
