hello guys,

i am trying to work on imx31 series for ma project. can anyone say which linux os is compatible with imx31 family? and how can i get it? and also is all the linux versions compatible with all imx31 series?

Hi,

The i.MX31 is now a legacy product and the available Linux BSP is with the kernel 2.6 on LTIB. You could also check if Timesys provides additional BSP releases at the following link:

https://linuxlink.timesys.com/dev_center/imx31

If you are start developing, it would be an option considering a newer i.MX processor, like the i.MX6 or i.MX7, which include BPSs with Linux 4.1.15 on the Yocto Project, and also Android 6.0 support:

i.MX Applications Processors|ARM® Cores|NXP
