do we need to install vivante drivers manually after cross-compiling 3.10.53 0r 3.14 kernel sources

Hi,

we have got imx6q reference board for which we have cross compiled 3.10.53 and 3.14 kernel. in both cases we are facing X problem. If we see the Xorg.0.log it says that:

LoadModule: "vivante"

[   137.975] (WW) Warning, couldn't open module vivante

[   137.975] (II) UnloadModule: "vivante"

[   137.975] (II) Unloading vivante

[   137.975] (EE) Failed to load module "vivante" (module does not exist, 0)

[   137.975] (EE) No drivers available.

Why vivante module is not loading.... why we are getting No drivers available. We came to know that from 3.10.53 kernel onwards gpu drivers are available as kernel loadable modules. then why vivante is not working.... and X is also not working
