a question for i.MX8MM EVK USB Load Switch_dead battery mode

Dear Sir/Madam,

On i.MX8M Mini EVK, there is a LDO to generate always on Voltage to prevent USB load switch(NX20P3483) into dead battery mode.

However, the LDO output will still later than VBUS, in theory, this circuit can not work well. Is that right?

Please help to take a check, thanks.

Hi Wenwen,

i.MX8M Mini EVK is not a battery operated EVK. Current EVK design, the device will not enter in dead battery mode. And if you are designing the battery-operated deice than please refer the Chapter #9, application diagram of USB load switch(NX20P3483) schematic.
