Does the EVK come with Wi-Fi in built? Or do I need to buy a wi-fi module separately? If so, what are some of the modules that are compatible with the evk?

You can download it from NXP: i.MX Software and Development Tools | NXP
Select i.MX BSP Updated and Releases -> Linux -> Linux 4.14.98_2.2.0 for i.MX 8M Nano GA
Thanks a lot guys! By the way, I see the 8M Nano evk getting started mentions running Android. Can I run Linux on it instead?
Yes, the evk supports Linux and FreeRTOS in addition to Android.
Great! Where can I get the Linux BSP?

Hi felixradensky - thanks for that clarification. Yes, Murata 1CX is indeed PCIe based. So I guess Murata modules 1DX (https://wireless.murata.com/type-1dx.html ) and 1LV (https://wireless.murata.com/type-1lv.html ) can also be used with i.MX 8M Nano? These two are SDIO based, similar to 1MW.
The i.MX 8M Nano EVK comes with Murata 1MW module on board (https://wireless.murata.com/type-1mw.html ). It is a very capable module with dual band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi. It also has Bluetooth 5.0.
You can also buy separate Wi-Fi modules if you want. The EVK has a M.2 connector on board, which means you can also plug in a Murata 1CX module, which provides even higher performance with dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO + Bluetooth 5.0 (https://wireless.murata.com/type-1cx.html ).
Hi Romit,
i.MX8M NANO has no PCIE, so connecting Murata 1CX module is not going to work.
Felix.
