Waking up iMX7D from LPSR by GPIO

Hi,

I'm working on a device that has iMX7D on it. We will use the LPSR mode, and I have a specific question related to waking up iMX7D from LPSR mode.

The reference manual says that gpio1_io00 .. gpio1_io15 can be used for waking up the processor.

Does it mean that these pads can wake up the processor only when muxed as "pure GPIO"?

If I have pads T2 (gpio1_io12) and T3 (gpio1_io13) multiplexed as FlexCAN RX and TX, would any activity on these pads wake up the processor?

Thanks & best regards,

Jari Peltonen

Hi Igor,

Thanks for your message!

This then means that a separate wake-up signal is needed if CAN Bus is supposed to wake up the processor.

I have no further questions at this point, so we can close this thread.

Best regards,

Jari

I am afraid no, they should be configured as gpios.
