Using GPT on i.MX8MM

Can GPT be used on the A53 of the i.MX8M Mini? Is there an App Note on how to enable GPT as a node in the .dts file of an i.MX8M Mini platform, including the path to the node?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't found any application that works with GPT but the drivers do exist, this is the driver.
