After managing to compile and install Samba on my target (ver 3.0.32) I experience the following warning when starting smbd/nmbd with the -i switch:
WARNING: no network interfaces found.
Having read that this information normally is obtained from the kernel, I have also tried to put the "interfaces" directive in the smbd.conf file without further success. It seems that the version of samba packed with the current distribution is rather old, anyone experienced the same problem, or has anybody a suggestion what to about it? I am using L2.6.35_MX28_SDK - latest available.
