Question, i.MX25 maximum ratings for GPIO pin

Dear team,

I would like to ask about maximum ratings of i.MX25 GPIO pin.

My customer has a question as following.

In the reference manual of i.MX25(IMX25CEC, Rev.10), ‘input voltage range’ is mentioned as below at Table 5.

Vimax = (-0.5V) to (NVDD + 0.3V)

Is it applicable to GPIO Pins (especially, P4 of pin #)?

Hello,

  Parameter VImax of the table 5 is applicable to for GPIO pins, including

P4, but please pay attention on the CAUTION above the table. In particular,
“Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods

may affect device reliability.

Table 5 gives stress ratings only—functional operation of the device is

not implied beyond the conditions indicated in Table 6.”
