You can build an image withQt5 and X11 for the i.MX7D using the Linux BSP (link below for the 4.1.15_2.0.0)

Please look at the i.MX Yocto Project User’s Guide for more details. The DISTRO option for X11 would be fsl-imx-x11 and the image for Qt5 would be fsl-image-qt5

The Qt5 image on the BSP requires X11 so it cannot be built for framebuffer.
