Program and run XiP with IMXRT1010-EVK

Can someone share a link to the application note or other documentation on how to program the flash on the IMXRT1010-EVK development board.

I have working code running fine when linked to RAM, but I cannot seem to get anything to program or run from flash XiP.

Dear @threeboystech 

You can program the flash on the IMXRT1010-EVK by using the Flashloader to program a bootable image into the external memory device either by using Open SDA or MfgTool.

Getting Started with i.MX RT1010 Evaluation Kit | NXP Semiconductors

External memory interfaces for the RT1010:

  • SPI NOR FLASH
  • Single/Dual channel Quad SPI FLASH with XIP support and on-the-fly decryption
  • Octal flash
