OTA upgrade from Nougat to Oreo

Hi,

How do i flash GPT image during OTA update?

We have devices in the field running Nougat (7.1.1) on imx6 and want to upgrade to Oreo.

For development, we have used 'fastboot flash gpt oreo-gpt.img" through USB and our system works fine.

We now want to rollout the upgrade to devices in the field.

The FSLOta.apk downloads the ota package to cache partition but how do i re-partition the eMMC for Oreo partition sizes and then apply the OTA upgrade?
