Customer LGE wants to use 256MB DRAM on Linux with MX6 and to enable both GPU and VPU.
Display size is WVGA(800X480).
I'm concerning unsufficient DRAM memory if both GPU and VPU are enabled on 256MB memory.
First, Is VPU using the reserved memory or Linux system memory?
2nd, How much can be reduced the reserved memory for GPU, if the display size is WVGA? As I know, default GPU reserved memory is 128M.
LGE prefers to use 256MB due to BOM cost and so I should review LGE's suggestion.
Could you advice me to reduce the reserved memory size?
