MIPI drive for i.MX 8M Mini

Hi,

We are planning to use i.MX 8M Mini processor for our remote monitoring purpose, but have question if MIPI driver available for the same. We will be using Free RTOS for our product. Also would like to know if OpenCV support and minimum hardware requirement for the same

On the this page it shows support for i.MX8, so is it sufficient to assume it will support i.MX 8M mini which is A53. Also about what about OpenCV do we need any minimal hardware required for Open CV.

Hi @sunils ,

Please confirm with NXP experts for the support of MCUXpresso on Cortex A53 cores in iMX8 platforms since in my opinion, it is mainly for the Cortex M4 core on iMX8M Mini or other real-time core(s) in other iMX8 SoCs. Maybe you expect to use the MIPI-CSI2 interface but I believe that it is also available in other powerful MCU families as well.

Also, I do not have experience on running OpenCV on MCU so I cannot tell.

However it might be for the M4 core, not A53 cores.
