MCIMX6Q-SDP fals boot rarely.

Hi community,

I have some question about i.MX6 SABRE platform.

Rarely, MCIMX6Q-SDP cannot boot correctly with a error (virtual address error) similar to the attached file.

MCIMX6Q-SDP

[BSP]

jb4.2.2_1.0.0-ga

[Procedure]

1. Boot Android 4.2 BSP.

2. After boot, execute a command "reboot -p" to power off.

3. After power off, push power button to reboot.

4. Repeat 2, 3 procedure.

Which error have you met when you boot ? And about the android image you built yourself or demo image from freescale?

Sorry, I forgot attaching file.

This issue was occurred with freescale pre-built image.

Hi Satoshi,

The demo image is default boot from eMMC. If you want to boot from SD card, you need to modify somethings. If using the default image without any changes , errors come. So here I recommend you to burn the images to eMMC and boot from it.

You can have a try.
