Hello Everybody.
My first post on the i.MX Community forum! Anyway, I'm trying to incorporate a composite video input into the IMX6Q using TI's TVP5150 (BT656 NTSC) through the parallel camera interface (CSI0). I've got the TVP5150 kernel driver talking to the chip through the i2c bus but I'm not sure how to register it with v4l2. I'm pretty new to the linux kernel and v4l2 so any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've also attached my board schematic to this post. If anyone would like the gerbers let me know.

Hello Jimmy. My solution is to use the ADV7180 instead of the TVP5150AM1 as the FSL specific v4l2 kernel drivers support it out of the box.
I think you can read the linux BSP porting guide for more information about porting a camera/video input.
The document is i.MX_6Dual6Quad_BSP_Porting_Guide.pdf in the Linux BSP bundle.
