Hi guys,

I just need some comments and/or advice on this whether if it's good or not or what can you say as a whole, is it worth it?

And any other adapter and IDE's that is cheaper but more or less same quality and features compare to DS-5 and DStream.

Thank you guys and happy hacking.

Hi Jose,

I think for embedded Linux development it is a very good IDE (though Eclipse based) and a powerful debugger/tracer.

It uses the on-chip ETB (Embedded Trace Buffer) for tracing and this works out-of-the-box.

Also, the Streamline tool you can use just with an Ethernet connection, you don't need DSTREAM for it. (And you can use DS-5 Community Edition which is for free).

We at Bluetechnix do our board bring-ups with DSTREAM and DS-5.

You might have a look at our Quick Start for CM-i.MX53 System-on-Module:

Regards,

Harald
