How to render android screen on Overlay framebuffer in Android O?

Hi,

I am working with IMX6 board, where I want to render Android on overlay framebuffer and want to use main framebuffer for my native application. I want to remove control of android over main framebuffer.

Is there any way to put android on Overlay freamebuffer, specifically for Android O hwcomposer 2.0 release?

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if for Android is possible to make this task. This is because of the GPU can perform the task. However, the Android drivers and the framework need to be changed and I am not sure what are those drivers. Furthermore, those changes are more related to the Android Operative system. Unfortunately, we cannot provide this type of support. I recommend you to with Google.
