How to debug Neon instructions with iMX6UL-EVK

Dear all,

I am searching for a EVB with cortex-A7, and I found that freescale IMX6UL-EVK board is good for me. However, in the document "ARM DS-5  Configuration for i.MX 6UL" (document no. AN5229), it seems that I won't be able to use Neon

if I try to use JTAG to debug my codes, since the Target CPU needs to be set as "Cortex-A7.no_neon.no_vfp" in DS-5 compiler option (as shown in Figure12~14 on page 11~13).

Does MX 6UL supports Neon? (in the core block diagram, it seems there is a Neon MPE) Is debugging Neon instructions with JTAG possible or not? (can I compile my codes with "Cortex-A7" option.
