Future demonstrated their new Panel Interface Module (PIM) for i.MX development kits. The PIM allows for rapid interfacing and evaluation of TTL and LVDS panels with most of the existing i.MX EVKs and PDKs. It is a small board that plugs into the Standard Conector found on these boards. An LVDS tranciever is on board, and the connectors mate with quickly-customizable Quadrangle cables available through Future. The Quadrangle cables are made to interface with the display under evaluation.
The attached pictures show the PIM running on an i.MX25 EVK driving a 5.7"TTL display, and on an i.MX31 driving an 10.4" LVDS display (as well as the original EVK display)
