We are all screens with non-standard resolution. For kernel 5.10.72, how should we modify the HDMI forced output of IMX8MQ? Is it still necessary to read the edid? Do you have an HDMI tool?
You'll need to create the correct pixel clock timings in drivers/gpu/drm/imx/mhdp/cdns-mhdp-hdmi-phy.c.
But please do note that Cadence only support the table data in cdns-mhdp-hdmi-phy.c. So for any issue you have using this I could suggest to continue through pro-support
