Ethernet over Usb in Imx2xx

Hi have anyone used Ethernet over USB in the Imx2xx?

Can  you please some guidance as how to go about it? (for the Linux version).

What kind of speed were you able to get with usb, HS?

This pdf started me in some direction.

hopefully; i'll find the rest. As I need to send Ethernet packets over usb.

One of the TI's cpus with same speed and Arm core as the imx28 runst usb at about 70 mbps.

which is enough for me. but that is at 100% cpu load!

The etherent's Mac does it at much better cpu load.

But the TI's cpu has problems that they have not been able to fix; so I am looking into the Imx's.

I've used ethernet over USB on iMX233 EVK. Speed is better than on board SPI ethernet chip, but still not on par with integrated ethernet of iMX28 or external DM9000 chip. Attached is  the document which Freescale FAE have sent me as a guidance for ethernet over USB. Check out the section titleled as "How to Mount host's nfs as rootfs over usb0
