I unable to create more partition from Linux,
by default,
root@imx8mnevk:~# ls -l /dev/mmcblk2*
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 179, 0 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 179, 32 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2boot0
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 179, 64 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2boot1
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 179, 1 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2p1
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 179, 2 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2p2
crw------- 1 root root 237, 0 May 26 16:51 /dev/mmcblk2rpmb
I want to create mmcblk2p3 to mmcblk2p7. But, I unable to do it. will you please provide the proper steps or scripts to create EMMC partition from script or Linux commands
You can use "fdisk" Linux command to manage EMMC partitions. Please refer to chapter 4.3.3 "Partitioning the SD/MMC card" of i.MX Linux User's Guide:
