I am trying to start the EBOOT from the SPI NOR Flash.I modified the Eboot code for SD boot.I wrote the E boot using the Freescale MFG tool and rigged a debug Led to track the code.I also filled the initial 1k of the image with 0's so that the ROM can jump directly to the IVT.However,I am not able to get past after the MMU initialization (Startup.s in BOOTLOADER common).
However the same code works fine if I used the im6qSDHC_to_SPI.binary to start the Eboot from the SD card.
So how to properly start the EBOOT from the SPI NOR directly instead of using the workaround in SPI NOR to make the BOOTROM jump to SD ?
