Hi,

I'm designing a custom board using i.MX6 processor. Just want to know which debugger should I buy for programming this processor ? Also If you can tell which IDE to use.

I have not done Processor programming before. For K-32 series Controller we were using J- link debugger and were using MCU Espresso IDE to debug step by step code.

Regards,

Bitesh

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

To debug your MPU it is necessary to use an external debugger probe. You can consult tested hardware on NXP's web page on section: Hardware -> Partners -> Test Accessories and Debugger.

I suggest you any debugger from MACRAIGOR Systems, Wind River or any of ARM. The guide to use it will be on selected external debugger web page.

Best regards.

Jorge.
