Chromium48 hangs up when rendering a new page in a tab

Hi,all:

      I built the yocto(fsl-release-bsp) images(fsl-image-x11) with the Chromium browser integrated into it.

When I use a browser to open a page in the new tab, the browser will crash.

But,When I use a browser to open a page in the new window,the browser is OK. It is also ok to open a blank tab.

And if I do not check "use hardware acceleration when available" ，everything is good.

When the browser crashes, glmark2 can not run.

How can i solve this problem?

What should I do to make the browser work stably using the GPU？

Hi wang,

Several issues and bugs are reported for Chromium on latest yocto bsp New chromium version works only on X11 and VPU patches do not apply on new version. For Wayland use older chromium version renamed to chromium-wayland and add VPU patches, Chromium in the older BSP versions were more stable, but they aren't patched for GCC5.
