Hi All,

Refer to Table 1. Freescale enhanced codecs in i.MX Android Extended Codec Release Notes, Rev KK4.4.3_2.0.0-ga, 02/2015.

There are description of supported codec.

But, the there is difference between implemented feature and the document specs.

(Ex, The avi container with DolbyDigital can be played.)

Please give me a correct codec spec list for jb4.2.2_1.1.0.

Best Regards,

Keita

one can refer to the document, the docment is correct, all of decoders and encoders in the document, which means imx codec can support it, if you couldnt' find the name there, which means codec couldn't support them officially.

if you find any detailed issue, pls tell me, I can forward to the codec team to double check it.

do you want to know if jb4.2.2 support dolby or not? dolby is belong to special codec, you couldn't find them in normal codec document, if you need to use dolby, you should get NDA.

Hi Joan,

Thank you for your reply.

Refer to "Table 1. Freescale enhanced codecs" again.

For example, .mp4, .mov, .f4v container supporting the "Dolby Digital Plus".

So, NXP had already described the dolby information in this document.

We want to clarify the supported codec information.

My customer needs the correct supported codec information for their product documentation.

Please fix the wrong information.

Best Regards,

Keita
