Dear All,

My customer downloaded the MFG tool Source (mfgtool.v2.3.2.SRC).

Is it possible to build it by Visual Studio 2015?

(They tried to build it on Visual Studio 2015. But, the result was error.)

- Windows SDK v7.1 didn't linked with Visual Studio 2015.

- Error message appeared like a "No Visual Studio 2008"

[Build Requirements from mfgtool.v2.3.2.SRC document]

Tools:

•  Visual Studio 2008 Professional

•  Windows 7 WDK 7600.16385.0 or later, 7600.16385.1 is better

•  Windows SDK v6.0A or later, v7.1 is better

Best Regards,

Keita

Hello,

I have some doubt if other than VS2008 version may be easy used for MFG

build, since only relatively simple applications can be rebuild for different VS

versions without modifications. Often special import tool should be applied

to import an application from previous release of VS. But for the VS2015

already several releases were issued.

Basically You could use only (C) sources to create new project, but I am afraid

problems may take place when using Windows SDK and WDK.

Have a great day,
Yuri
