Greetings to NXP support teams,
I'm trying to integrate your Android demo releases (Android Q10.0.0_2.6.0 and 12.0.0_2.0.0 from official link) within my lxc container running on your Linux yocto based projects with corresponding kernel versions. Target board is i.MX8QM.
For this to happen, I must adapt Android graphics workflow to host Wayland compositor.
Particularly, I would need to reimplement your hwcomposer to get handle on graphics buffer and to bind it with corresponding wl_buffer, commit to wl_surface and answer to wayland thread events. Can you provide me more details about this handle for DRM buffer sharing between your gralloc and hwcomposer implementations, I would like to get better understanding on the process of your memory management implementation and your Memory structure so I can correctly interpret your graphics buffer handles.
Best regards,
Dusan
I would suggest you apply the Engineering Professional Service.
