Radio Range for JN5168-001-M00

Hello , 
I am new to JN516x Zigbee Pro development ,and I want to know what is the maximum distance between 2 modules  (JN5168-001-M00) that cannot be exceeded for proper communication between the 2 modules.
Also I want to know whether there's a way to control this maximum range through Software.

It is short.

Indoor, about 1 room away but If you chose the JN5169 (if there is module version) or JN5168-M05 version, the range should be a lot further. 

Please use this find JN-AN-1172 JN516x-Customer-Module-Evaluation-Tool, to test the range.

Please use Channel 25 / 26, to ensure no WiFi interference for Maximum Range.

You'll also need to know/set what is your maximum allowable PER at 'maximum range'. 

From datasheet,

JN5168-M00 > Transmit power  2.5 dBm

JN5169-M00 > TX power 8.5 dBm/10 dBm

JN5168-M05 > Transmit power  9.5 dBm

Do both modules ( JN5169-M00 , JN5168-M05 ) need external antennas to achieve this Tx power ( 10 dbm , 9.5 dbm )
or this power is achieved by the on board antenna ??

Also If I used a module ( JN5169-001-M06 ) having receiving sensitivity of -100 dbm , for how much could this enhance the radio range ?
