QN908x and I2S

Hello,

I'm evaluating the QN9080 mcu with the QN9080DK board and I'm wondering if this mcu is able to handle I2S communication.

By reading the UM11023 at page 272, paragraph "20.5 pin description" for the Flexcomm interface, and also in few other points of the manual, there are some references to it. But I have not found technical information for that.

In addition, the PSELID register does not seem to allow the selection of I2S RX/TX mode.

Could you give more information on that?

Hello Bramini,

Unfortunately, the QN908x does not support I2S. The references to I2S in the user manual are most probably a documentation error. I will report it to the corresponding team, so it gets fixed in future revisions of the user manual.
