JN5189 LA and LB pins connected to GND

Hello support,

If NFC antenna pins both LA and LB (or either LA or LB) of JN5189 is connected to GND, where NFC functions shall never be activated in such connection, is there anything bad assumed (e.g. leak current, prone to hardware fault, etc.)?

Allowing GND connection to LA or LB or LA/LB is better for us in order to keep compatibility with older JN516x modules, because we can only assign those LA/LB pins to unused GND pins.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. You can connect them to GND if you are not interested in using the NFC functionality, and there should not be any problem.
