Hi Behold Li,

The RSSI that you are seeing is the value that the Sniffer has captured the packets.

By the way, where is JennicSniffer_JN5169_1000000.bin source code?

Unfortunately, we do not provide the sniffer source code.

Regards,

Mario

The RSSI report by JN5169 USB Dongle is -78 always,as we all know, all zigbee device RSSI captured by ubiqua not equal one same value.I have been test with TI USB dongle at the same time,it work well, the all device node RSSI not equal the same value.

Is it possible open souce code the binary JennicSniffer_JN5169_1000000.bin?

We would like change baud rate from default 1000000bps to 115200bps or 9600bps,but we have not source code.

Hi Behold Li,

Could you please look at the Link Quality in the frame information?

I am not sure how Ubiqua is calculating the RSSI.

It seems like RSSI display incorrect whenever used JN5169 USB Dongle with JennicSniffer_JN5169_1000000.bin or JennicSniffer_JN5169_1000000_HP.bin.

We can compare the TI CC2531 USB Dongle with JN5169 USB Dongle,TI CC2531 RSSI in ubiqua display correctly,I don't think ubiqua not professional in the area of zigbee wireless analyzer,it must be JN5169 report incorrect packet format, and we all known,FCS may be don't care in the sniffer,as your picture FCS equal 0x8A73 may be invalid or insignificantly .

Hi Behold Li,

I ran a test and the RSSI value is changing. I am not sure if in your environment is clear or not.
