Failure in SVD test cases while WiFi Certification.

Hello NXP team,

We are performing WiFi certification for W8897 chipset having driver release package
SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8897-AO_LINUX_4_9_70-BG4CT-W15.68.19.p59-15.26.19.p59-C4X15698_B0B1-GPL.zip running on Android 11 OS.
While performing QTT test cases mentioned below:
CT_Security_WPA2Personal_STA_4wayHandshakeVulnerability-EncryptedM3Retransmission_10002_2
WFA lab reported 'The percentage of ARP packets received from the STAUT is not as expected' in case of SVD tests.

Kindly help us to identify the issue.

The SVD test case is passed with the test binary.

Can you please share the official release package?

What is the timeline for the official release package? 

We have the following requirement for the firmware binary:

The firmware binary should have only the changes related to the fix that was provided.
The base binary of the firmware should remain the same. 

So, in summary:

Official latest released firmware binary = Base firmware binary we are using which has the issue + only fix of the issue.

Make sure nothing extra is to be added in firmware.

Thank you for sharing the updates.

The customer has used the firmware release W15.68.19.p59 for the certification which is almost completed/passed all the test cases except the current issue in the SVD test case.

The client is using 3rd Party lab to perform the testing. It is very critical for the client to have the FW release on top of the FW version W15.68.19.p59 so that the 3rd party lab need not have to repeat the entire test case for certification.

This would save cost and time for the customer. Also, due to the Chinese New Year holidays, the client is insisting on FW release from NXP by 16/Jan/2023 or latest by 18/Jan/2023.

Can you please confirm that the official release will be provided on version W15.68.19.p59?

Can you please connect with the internal team and ask them to expedite and provide the date for the official release?

The customer is using the firmware release version W15.68.19.p59, so expecting the new release on top of the same before 16/Jan/2023.

Also, kindly take note that the customer is insisting to resolve this before they go on Chinese new year vacation i.e before 20/Jan/2023 (the last working day before the new year).
