I am currently using a Vybrid processor.  I have a need to access the e-fuse setting.  The tool that we are using are the IAR I-Jet.  Can that be used to access the e-fuse setting?  What is the process?  If not what is the best tool?

Dear Sean,

Although not a software person, I will try to answer your questions as much as I can:

  • We do have a sample for the E-Fuse in our Vybrid Sample code on the company web site (Vybrid-related pages).
  • The sample we have is for our only officially supported tool, DS-5 with CMSIS-DAP or DSTREAM.
  • Our software people think you can use it but doubt we have any script for IAR to E-Fuse.
  • We have used the IAR I-Jet tool in the past but about a year ago switched to DS-5 only.

I am a bit curious - are you asking "in advance", i.e. trying to foresee possible issues, or have you already bumped into real ones while using our code?
