The Freescale Cup competition was new to Convergence this year. College-age and young professionals' teams are challenged to achieve the fastest time around a designed track with a battery operated kit RC car. All parts for the car are provided along with information on how to build and code the car. The teams must design their own algorithms that drive the car over the black line on the white track as quickly as possible.
