Freescale header files license

Hello,

what is the license for the freescale header files that ship with codewarrior 10.x?

The only thing the file says is:

Copyright : 1997 - 2010 Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

It would be great to get more modern S08 MCU supported out of the box in SDCC. Converting the headers is pretty easy but for inclusion the license must be GPL or something more or less compatible with GPL.

Is there any chance to get the permission from freescale?

I suggest that you contact your local Freescale representative and explain what you are doing and what you hope to accomplish. They should be able to tell you or--more likely--check with our legal department on what is permitted.
