Pressure Sensor Supply Voltage

Dear Sirs, I have a system originally supplied by 3.3V, with all other components able to operate in the range of 3.0 to 3.6V.

Now I selected the Pressure Sensor MP3V5050GP, which operates from 2.7 to 3.3V.

The LDO Voltage regulator has 2% tolerance, and can reach up to 3.4V.

Please, what do you recommend in this case? Will the MP3V5050GP operate normally with 3.3V or close to 3.4V?

Some other suggestion?

Thank you very much,

Iaran

Hi Iaran,

Although the MP3V5050GP has a nominal supply voltage of 3.0V and the recommended supply voltage range from 2.7V to 3.3V, it works without any problems up to 3.6V.

One note is that this device is ratio-metric which means that the output offset voltage and sensitivity will scale linearly with applied supply voltage.

Best regards,

Tomas
