MMA9553 Capacitors?

Hello,

In the datasheet mma955xL.pdf at § 3.4.3 it is suggested to use few capacitors and a ferrite bead.

Are the double caps (C1+C2 and C3+C4) required? or with a single will be ok (just C1 and C3)?

Also, can you please provide some more details on the ferrite? Could it be replaced with pcb trace?

Hello Oleh,

I'd rather recommend you to use the capacitors shown in the recommended circuit, they're decoupling capacitors, if you remove the 0.1uF caps, high frequency noise might not be filtered.

Regarding the ferrite, you can use a 10uH inductor and yes, you can replace it with a PCB trace if properly designed.
