I was told that KMZ80 chip is delivered by NXP with default AD signal style, and if customers want to use SENT signal style, we have to calibrate the chip by ourselves, is that correct?
Could we purchase KMZ80 with SENT signal style directly? I did not find useful related description about setting method of output signal format from KMZ80 product data sheet(rev.3 -- 26 April 2019).
Hi Ma Liang,
Thanks for using KMZ80, you will need a programming kit to program the sensor register to switch to SENT output mode, please get in touch with cindy.zhang@nxp.com to get a kit.

OK, I'll contact later.
Hi Liang,
As you can notice in the datasheet (Chapter 8), the KMZ80 provides a digital output signal on pin OUT/DATA (if bit 12 in register SYS_SETTING is set to logic 1) compliant with the SAE J2716 SENT standard.
The measured angle α is converted linearly into a value, which is digital encoded in SENT frames. Either a positive or a negative angular slope characteristic is provided for this purpose.
Best regards,
Tomas
Thank you, now I notice that.
